he Pet industry in
India has grown by
leaps and bounds over
the past few decades. Several
new services revolving around
pets and pet owners have
emerged in contemporary
times. With an annual growth
rate of over 35 percent, the
Indian pet care market is
growing at an exponential
rate. Th is article explores some
of the more recent services
which are taking root in the
Indian marketplace. Th ese have
emerged at a rapid pace and are
being run with a high level of
professionalism.
Pet Photography
While humans have always
been interested in photography,
their growing inclination
towards having their pets
immortalized in photo frames
is palpable. Many professional
pet photographers have
emerged in the industry during
the last few years whose only
job is to photograph pets.
Several people pursued this job
as a hobby but went on to take
it up as a full-time career.
