18 IMPORTANT: Before accepting an offer, think through it carefully. If you need more time to consider the offer, check with the organisation directly if they can extend the deadline. The first offer that you accept will be your internship placement. Once an internship offer is accepted (whether via the internship portal, email, submission of self-sourced documents, verbal agreement or signed agreement, etc.) you will not be allowed to withdraw from it. Subsequently, you must stop all sourcing efforts for further internship placement opportunities. • Any further offers that come along will need to be rejected politely. • If you have applied to other internship programmes such as NTUitive’s OEP or OGEM’s Work and Study, you are to inform the respective programme office(s) that you have already secured a credit-bearing internship placement and will withdraw from the programme(s) accordingly. WARNING: Disciplinary action will be taken against students who accept more than 1 internship offer and/or rescind an accepted offer. Such may include, but not limited to, voiding the internships that the offers relate to and issuance of warning letters that will bar you from awards in NTU.
