Being qualified for a particular job is only half the story. You must also be well-versed in hunting for the job as finding that opportunity and landing that position is another skillset altogether. 8 Here’s a shortlist of the key pointers towards successful job-hunting. Get to know yourself first Discover your personal attributes, strengths, weaknesses as well as values, interests, personality, and skills (VIPS). A Career Coach at the Career & Attachment Office (CAO) can guide you through this process. Make sure you have your résumé ready and keep it updated. Seek help from a Career Coach at CAO to ensure that your résumé is in tip-top condition!
