Dr. Michael Saville Howarth is a Dissertation Tutor: BA (Honors) Education
for the Department of Education, School of Health and Education, at Middlesex
University in London, England. After an early career as a radio producer for BBC
Education and multimedia designer, Mike completed a Ph.D. in digital interface
design from analogue broadcast materials, set up a new course in multimedia and
then supervised degrees by public works at Middlesex University. There he was
then asked to make videos for students and staff. He reports on video learning design
in the last five years with academics at University College, London, and with
his current BA (Honors) Education students at Middlesex University.
