multi-nationals to compete for the prestigious awards. The coveted Best
Natural Cleanser award went to a small company – Pure Lakes Skincare
for their Rosehip Soapfree cleanser. The Best Anti-ageing Facial product
winner is Synergy Skinfood for the luxurious Seven Serum Skinfood –
joint winners were Tiana Fair Trade Organics for the Rose Fresh Coconut
TLC Best night cream went to B2 Beauty for the SKN-RG Restructure
Night Cream
Two of the biggest established companies Green People and Weleda both
won awards again, Green People won the Best New Summer Product with
the Gradual Tan Moisturiser. The coveted Best Conditioner award went to
Weleda for the Weleda Arnica Bumps and Bruises spray.
Inlight whose founder is the skincare guru Dr Mariano Spiezia won for
the second year running with their Organic Firm and Tone oil – brilliant
for cellulite!
Make-up and Hair
Natorigin stormed the make-up categories yet again winning the Best
Make-up foundation and Best Mascara. Sante won for the first time with
the gorgeous natural Coral Pink lipstick. PHB Ethical Beauty won the
Best Natural Lipgloss Conscious Skincare won for the Best Eye Make-up
Remover. The Best Natural Shampoo went to Essential Care for the first
ever certified organic shampoo and Tabitha James Kraan won the Best
Specialist Hair Product with the Organic Dry Shampoo for fair hair.
Supplements
Supplements were given an accolade too with Optibac winning Best
Probiotic Supplement and Viridian Nutrition won the award for Best
Beauty from Within award with their Organic Ultmate Beauty Collection.
Well established companies like Sun Chlorella won Best Wholefood
Supplement The unbeatable Cherryactive picked up the Best Health
Drink for the second year running with the Cherryactive Concentrate.
Hippocrates said ‘Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food’
and there were also winners in the Healthy Food and drink categories
including Seed and Bean (great organic
chocolate) Artisan Bread and Steenbergs Organics

choices! To that end, Allergy Cosmos, Water for Health, Naturally
Structured Water and UK Thermomix were all given accolades. The
Healthy Office Innovation went to Backapp for a brilliant Adjustable Desk.
Babycare companies were given recognition too such as Mummalove
Organics, Babycup
and Bickiepegs and Neuners and Natural Birthing Company were joint
winners for the Best
New Mum’s Product. In the Readers Awards The Best Mum and Baby
Product went to Weleda’s new White Mallow Body Lotion –perfect for
mum and baby.
