The fact that most of the people shortlisted for an award have probably all gone or are going through the aforementioned pains and efforts to bring us all something different, something new, or, going that extra mile to offer quality, choice, enjoyment and an experience. This very fact is something we should all be shouting about and proud of, and my involvement as a judge and award host gives me incredible pleasure and joy to be a part of the success of others. It also sees another opportunity (or two) for Mrs C to wear that sparkly dress that was purchased for Christmas and allows me to offset the cost of all those hours spent being dragged around the shops and made to linger outside the female changing rooms waiting to admire the dress made from a disco glitter ball! , all whilst trying not to look bored, smiling politely to the other ladies in the queue, whilst being scowled at as if I was some kind of menace and cross dresser hanging around the bra section!. Next December`s shopping spree, I plan to carry a puppy with me, this I am sure will help!. On that note, I wish anyone entering an award over the next couple of months, the best of British!, and any food producer possibly thinking about (or if you know of someone who may benefit) to have a look at the link below. Let`s hope 2014 will be a winning year for all !
