Why not try out the following methods to bring greater balance, increase your intuition, and discover your heart’s desires… 1) Undergo a Lifestyle Review To really understand your current lifestyle, have a think about how your typical day is divided. In each twenty four hours, how many hours do you spend:? ? ? ? ? ? Sleeping Working Doing chores Relaxing Spending time with friends & family Enjoying hobbies/interests/creativity The results of this exercise can be a bit of an eye-opener. That was certainly the case when I decided to review my way of living. It made me realise that even things that I really enjoyed, like cooking for my family, had become a chore rather than a pleasure, due to constant time pressures. So is your current way of living in the right balance for you? How does it compare to how you’d like your life to be? What really feeds your soul and makes your heart sing? If your desires are realistic and healthy, then take steps to make some lifestyle changes. After all, no-one else can do it for you. 2) Keep a Personal Diary Taking just a few minutes at the end of each day to briefly record your experiences, will quickly pay great dividends. How have you felt physically and emotionally that day? What have you eaten and drunk? Has anything significant happened? This mini diary of events will soon show you patterns, and before long, you will be much more tuned in to your own individual cycles. At certain times, your energy levels will be higher, and this is the time to tackle bigger things, whilst other times will warrant more rest – earlier nights, wholesome food, and lots of tlc. So, rather than popping pills and drinking more caffeine to get you through these times, you will have a greater understanding of what your mind, body and soul really need. Don’t forget – being your own best friend is the best friend you could ever wish for! 3) Permit Yourself To Be Pampered The majority of us have busy lives, and it’s important, if not essential, to take time out on a regular basis to nurture ourselves and not feel guilty about doing so. Whether it’s a holistic treatment provided by someone else, or a regular evening of indulgence at home, permission to pamper will greatly improve the way you feel about yourself. It doesn’t have to cost the earth either. Even something simple like adding a few drops of lavender oil to your bath before bedtime will help you on so many levels. So whatever your budget, treat yourself! 4) Meditate Taking a few minutes out of each day to either focus our minds on something specific, or to simply sit in silence and observe our thoughts, can benefit us in so many ways. As well as for relaxation purposes, meditation can help us to de-junk our minds, gain clarity and focus, solve our problems, heal from illness, manage pain, and increase our energy levels. Ultimately, it helps to balance mind, body and soul, and it is only when we are in this place of equilibrium, that we can effectively begin to realise and manifest our dreams.
