Due to the high cost of maintaining the two existing log singulators, Tolko’s requirement was clear: smooth, efficient feeding and of logs up to 25 logs/min, with consistent gaps and reduced maintenance costs. The flexibility of Springer’s solution was key, bridging an elevation change of 10 feet with a single unit. Logs are aligned, singulated, and even-ended to an integrated stop-end chain, and accelerated in the longitudinal direction as they are fed to the existing receiving conveyor. www.springer-microtec.com CONTENTS LOGGING • SAW MILLING • EWP ’s • BIOMASS OCTOBER / NOVEM BER 2017 HEADY HEIG HTS Unprecedente d CTL head optio ns for contractor s GET A GRIP Nordic Traction & Trelleborg show the way in tyre technolog y MULCHING MAG IC Which attachmen ts fair best on comparison?
