Nothing is left to chance when it comes to machine and operator protection and safety . The specially designed , forestry cab is approved to OSHA , WCB , SAE and ISO standards . The cab offers a high level of comfort , space , ergonomic controls for easy controllability , excellent visibility and low in-cab noise ; a factor much appreciated by operators .
It is offered with a 200 mm or 325 mm cab riser , additional emergency exits , 32 mm Lexgard for the front and top windows , gas spring doors and eight LED lights to meet global safety standards . Both front and side-mounted cameras are also fitted and a 300 mm catwalk running along both sides facilitates safe access to both the cab and super structure .
A high and wide undercarriage provides increased stability and improved ground clearance for better machine protection , with thicker steel plates protecting the under-belly , using countersunk bolts to protect them too from damage . Further protection comes from full length track guards , stronger , 6 mm engine hood and side panels , reinforced fuel and hydraulic tanks , swing ring protection against the ingress of debris and protection for the boom cylinder .
