Rottne H21D with the powerful Rottne EGS706 harvester head, which is adapted for heavy final felling Characteristics for the EGS 406 • D ouble upper and lower knives and one fixed knife • S uitable for thinning up to approx. 35 cm breast height diameter • P roportional knife and feed roll pressure provides optimum grip depending on tree species and diameter for fast feeding while at the same time maintaining a low diesel consumption • Multi-tree handling (option) Rottne EGS 596: all-round harvester head for thinning and final felling The Rottne EGS 596 is a proven all-round harvester head that can handle everything except the really heavy final felling. The design with supporting wheel arms and three feed rollers makes limbing work possible with a lower knife pressure – and ensures maximum utilisation of the feed force. Rottne EGS 406: small and versatile harvester head the harvester head Rottne EGS 406 has also been updated. The most important new additions are new cylinders and a new hose routing for increased reliability and performance. There are now also several different types of feed rollers to choose from, which are adapted to different tree species and bark types. The harvester head’s frame has also been strengthened, while also being as small and convenient as before. The EGS 406 is a small and compact harvester head fully adapted for the stand-operating thinning harvester, the Rottne H8D. The harvester head is ideal for initial thinning but can also handle coarser thinning up to 35 cm breast height diameter.
