Development for HITDC
Maliha Mian
has had quite
a journey since
graduating with a
BBA from University
of Houston in 2002. She earned a
law degree and started her own prac-
tice, Mian & Associates Law Firm
PLLC, representing clients on issues
related to business, procurement, en-
tertainment, immigration and family
matters. Maliha was diagnosed with
an aggressive form of breast cancer in
2015. Since then, she has developed
Got Boobs? — an innovative social
media networking platform that pro-
vides a comprehensive solution to
the emotional roller coaster that ac-
companies a breast cancer diagnosis.
The platform launched last summer
and Maliha is founder and CEO of
the company.
Her soaring spirit drives an efficient system around her
for her life as a lawyer, mother, friend, and partner in
so many accounts. She has high standards that her team
members value and share as well. With humble account-
ability in all she executes, she challenges herself to bring
justice and information to the community by taking ini-

The Houston International Trade
Development Council (HITDC) is
excited to announce Maliha Mian,
JD as Vice President-Elect for 2019.
Maliha will Chair HITDC’s Mem-
bership Division as well as develop
new and progressive international
initiatives. She serves on the South
Asian Chamber of Commerce and
other boards previously. Maliha is
conducting lots of community events
to help and support the local com-
munity.
As Managing Member of Mian & As-
sociates Law Firm PLLC, Maliha provides legal counsel-
ing for companies and individuals in the following legal
practice areas: business transactions, entertainment trans-
actions, government contracts, immigration, wills & trusts,
and family law. Maliha further provides In-House Coun-
sel services, a unique service tailored to small and medi-
um-sized businesses to help plan and protect for their suc-
