Political economist, lawyer and former United Nations official, former Dep-
uty Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Kingsley Moghalu offered
its futuristic economic views on Nigeria. In his experience at the Central
Bank of Nigeria, he spoke about the execution of extensive reforms in the
Nigerian banking system after the global financial crisis. Dr. Moghalu serves
as a Professor of Practice in International Business and Public Policy at The
Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
The U.S. Bilateral African Chamber of Commerce also referred to as “US-
BACC” is a membership-based non-profit organization established in 2010,
the organization has been a focal point of reference for business partnerships
with Africa. USBACC is one of the few leading voices of the Africa Business
Community in the Diaspora.
The chamber promotes bilateral trade, investments, and business opportuni-
ties, educational and cultural exchanges to its members through its programs,
events and information sharing activities.
USBACC hosts various events throughout the year and continues to be a
convener for dedicated investors, government officials, corporate executives,
small business owners, entrepreneurs and stakeholders with an interest in Af-
rica. The organization uses its platform to strengthen business partnerships
between Africa, the United States and the rest of the world.
