iF Magazine ’ s July cover page is one I ’ ve been waiting for , The Honorable Gilad Katz , Consul General of Israel . The Honorable Consul General is one of the most liked and well respected members of the Consular Corps of Houston . You can add me to the list of well wishers and peace for the State of Israel . I certainly can understand why this wise diplomat was chosen to head one of Israel ’ s most important post .
Okay , “ It ’ s July vacation time and the living is easy ” … well not totally for us , although speaking for the team again , the line between work and play can be blurred . That ’ s why starting July we plan to double our efforts to cover more exciting international events . We ’ ve added new and exciting people to our hard working team who have shown their passion for covering and reporting the Houston area international happenings .
Also , I ’ m excited to announce we are reaching out to the city of Sugar Land , Fort Bend County — the most diverse internationally in our area — for distribution .
Have I mentioned a trade mission to Indonesia and China ? That ’ s right , iF Magazine will join Houston International Trade Development Council on a trade mission to Indonesia and China in October and November ! Getting back to our cover page , I ’ d love to travel to Israel and cover Tel Aviv !
I ’ m excited to announce our July issue will be our 2nd anniversary ! We ’ ve been challenged to publish interesting people and events . We ’ ve been tested from all angles and we ’ ve passed in flying colors ! For at least two years .
