Being as that our facility is so large,
we host many events such as the an-
nual meeting for the Consulate core,
as well as coordinating events with
the Office of Foreign Ministry. We
hold a culinary festival every year,
were we have 40 to 50 booths. We
can even accommodate about 100
cars for parking. Holding events like
this bring the Indonesian community
together but also creates a direct con-
nection with other communities. opment and culture. Our population
is about 269 million people, having
the fourth biggest population in the
world. Our export products range
from Agricultural products, oil, and
apparel. Houston is a strategic posi-
tion, being the energy capital of the
United States. We both export and
import oil, as increased
trade with the United
States has solidified our

investments in the United
States has grown as we
have opened the Fascon
Oil Field located in Lar-
edo.

Houston is a more than

A: We want to teach more U.S. citi-
zens about Indonesia. Usually people
only identify Indonesia with Bali as a
tourist destination, but we are starting
to reach out to Universities to edu-
cate the public on Indonesian devel-
ping into that community, they have
enlightened so many in the process.
Going forward, Indonesia looks to
the future with ambitious and eager
eyes, ready to become a formidable
trade center in not just Asia, but the
rest of the world, too.
