Havana Houston
Fine International Dining with a Cuban Touch
From humble beginnings two
Cuban born entrepreneurs came
to the US in search of the righ-
teous and desirous “American
Dream”. Their love of quality food
and their Cuban heritage coupled
with their adoration for this coun-
ty’s potential drove their dream of
opening a fine dining restaurant.
In August of 2013 began their
venture to bring Cuban cuisine to
Houston’s population in a way that
has never been attempted before
in the state of Texas.
From scouting the location and hand selecting the cus-
tom made decor, to carefully choosing the providers and
cuts of meats and seafood. Together they have molded
their vision of combining elegant settings and the use
of the finest ingredients at the peak of maturity to fuse
their heritage with the heritage of this now eclectic and
dynamically diverse population that exists today in the
great state of Texas. The two year endeavor reached its

and Havana Houston opened its
doors with the concept of Fine
International Dining with a Cu-
ban touch.
Many believe Cuban food to be a
variation or somewhat like Mexi-
can cuisine. Havana Houston had
to be more than a place to grab
some croquettes or empanadas.
It was opened with the purpose
of demonstrating the potential of
Cuban cuisine. The birth of Cuban cuisine was influenced
mainly from Spanish culture; with this in mind the deci-
sion was made to have the signature dish be a twist on a
classic Spanish dish utilizing saffron rice. The 7 Mares Pa-
ella was an instant hit with all of the patrons. With a prep
time of 40-45 minutes this dish is entirely made from
scratch; with seafood in every bite and serving sizes for 2
or 4 persons, this dish is now the embodiment of Havana
Houston. An HH famous authentic Cuban mojito or a
chef chosen wine to accompany this dish is a must.
