Tapu Javeri is Pakistan’s foremost photographer. Credited with numerous
fashion, photojournalism, and personality shoots, he has exhibited his work
both nationally and internationally. Tapu is author of several books on pho-
tography. He is a regular guest speaker at academic institutes in Pakistan and
abroad. Tapu has spoken at Cambridge University UK, National History mu-
seum in Sophia, Bulgaria, IVS among others.
Tapu has had the privilege to photograph prominent personalities and per-
sons of international acclaim. His repertoire ranges from photographs of roy-
alty such as Princess Sarwat of Jordan, to famous personalities such as Aung
San Suu Ki, Shashi Kapoor, Madam Nurjehan and Benazir Bhutto.
Tapu is the brand ambassador and official photographer for several social and
charity projects such as the SIUT and Patients Aid Foundation. Poignant im-
ages of patients at the above institutes taken by Tapu adorn billboards and stir
the heartstrings of the people of Pakistan
Tapu Javeri’s creativity is not exclusive to photographs alone. He is the partner
and son of famous jeweler Hassan Ali Mohammed Javeri and has an extensive
career of over 30 years in jewelry
