W
hile looking at our
April cover page featur-
ing the Consul General
of France, T.H. Sujiro Seam
(designed by our very talented
Creative Director, Craig Amos),
I’m reminded of movies I watched as a
child about April in Paris. Some of you
have probably heard that I’m a world trav-
eler; sadly, however, I’ve never really visited
Paris — that is, unless you call a stop on the
way to another destination a visit! I hope
that someday I’ll get the opportunity to go
outside of the airport — then I can finally
say I’ve actually been to the beautiful City
of Light.

In fact, I’m looking forward to the day I can
call on all of our hardworking team of pho-
tographers (Vicky Pink and Heidi Powell,
Directors; Sonia Guimbellot; David Ng and
Geert Visser) and perhaps a few writers/re-
porters (Anita Long, Katia Hadjiyska, Cris-
sy Butts and Susanne Rithschild) and say,
“How would you guys like to go with me
for my first trip to Paris?” Ok, I’m commit-
ted — if you write and publish something,
it’s etched into eternity, isn’t it?
I really can’t say enough about the wonder-
ful work and sacrifices out team members
are making to d eliver fresh and relevant
information to our eager readership every
month. They continue to work tirelessly to
make the International Focus (iF) Magazine
a ‘must read’ about Houston’s international
community.
And, as always, thank you for your reader-
ship!
