There is much to say and do with
the French Consulate in Hous-
ton, Texas. We have been fortunate
enough to witness the involvement
firsthand. This current French Con-
sul has hosted museum art exhibits
in the home graciously with his wife
over his term, once I partook with
them on a foreign book launch for
“A Place of Miracles”: The Story of
a Children’s Hospital in Kabul and
the People whose lives have been
changed by it. The list goes on for
the activities this incredibly active
Consul has been involved in for
Houston and in his travels to plac-
es in the nearby vicinity. From just
what I have seen inadvertently in the
community alignments together. We
have partnered to host a conference
around one of the biggest economi-
cal times in our city every May to
go along with our Global 7 Awards.
He has been a part of discussions and
panels we’ve hosted that have proven
to be a grand addition of experi-
ence and information, and we may
as well mention style ! Not only do
we have a Consul who has graced us
with representing the French culture
here, we have seen his involvement
with other cultures that is more than
admirable. A glimpse into my expe-
rience of projects in the community,
you would have seen the other Con-
suls he has worked with are in the
Pakistan, Indian, Swiss, Indonesian
and African communities with me.
You can see him at any given time
working with the vast majority of
others including our own Mayor that
we were published among various
cultural prints for the Vigil of Nice
on the steps of City Hall. Partner-
