PPG Global’s clients and partners represent municipal
governments, universities, school systems/stadiums and
hospitals (MUSH) markets as well as innovative technology for renewable energy/electricity, infrastructure;
airport, ports and road projects. PPG Global, LLC has a
potential portfolio representing approximately $7B and
seeking funding of up to approximately $3B targeted for
infrastructure projects.
The Delegation visit was to further the relationship
efforts between the City of Houston and the City of
Mankono, as the slate of essential projects take shape for
meeting the tremendous needs of the people and country. Also, to highlight and identify the Ivoirians based
in Houston and to establish a long lasting connection
with them. PPG Global sought out the assistance of the
Association of Ivoirians in Houston and was extremely
delighted to have their leadership and members engage
in all activities for the four day Delegation visit. PPG
Global will continue to provide a mentorship and partnering relationship with this talented non profit organization and to highlight how Houston is truly diverse in
their growing population of Ivoirians residing in Houston, Texas and the surrounding areas. The Association
President and the Board, proved to be incredibly helpful
and knowledgeable with their support of our efforts.
Each day of the four day Delegation visit, focused on
the showcase of business talent based in Houston and
throughout Texas, as collaboration partners working
with PPG Global and the City of Mankono, to help
plan the necessary steps for project deployment over the
next 3-6 months.
One of the top project priorities is for Pre-K through
vocational schools that will be dedicated for Girls living in the surrounding villages of the City of Mankono.
The area currently does not have girls attending school
so the need is great for quality schools that can meet
the individual and cultural needs of the young girls and
help them to successfully matriculate for an education
or specific technical trade. PPG Global, LLC sought out
the Lawson Academy for Girls and based on the passionate work initially visualized by Reverend William
A. Lawson and his wife; Audrey. The Lawson Academy
has a refreshing and powerful approach for curriculum
instruction and training with the community/village focused curricula program of instruction and the innovative design of an open classroom structure, in existence
today and being planned for their new facility.
