Guyana, located on the tip of South America’s North Atlantic coast,
is letting the world in on one of the best kept secrets: an abundance of natural resources that it is ready to share with the world.
With the recent discovery of major oil-and-gas deposits found off its coasts and
the recent announcement of Britain’s Prince Harry’s official visit to Guyana later
this year on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, it is safe to say that the secrets
Guyana is sharing has been well worth the wait.
We sat down with Mohammed Omar, Director of the Guyanese American Chamber of Commerce in Houston to discuss the future of Guyana and their plan to
share its treasures as investing in this green economy beckons.
