Your Excellency,
please tell us
something about
your background
in foreign service.
Before being transferred to Houston
in 2013, I served as
Consul General in
Bangladesh,
Turkey,
Kenya and many other
countries. I am a carrier
diplomat who joined
Pakistan foreign service
in 1999.
What are the
responsibilities of the
Consul General?
As CG my prime responsibility is to serve the Pakistani
citizens living in Texas and
surrounding nine additional
states. We provide consular
services to our citizens and US
citizens of Pakistan origin. We
also provide visa services to US
citizens.
What are the services that
the consulate provide and how
many states fall under your
jurisdiction?
We are equipped to take applications for state of the art Pakistani
Machine Readable passports, however, all passports are now printed in
Pakistan and sent to us for onward
deliver to the applicants. We process
all legal documents, such as Power of
Attorney, birth certificates, additions or
