Look and feel : The act of giving the gift graciously is surpassed by the elegance of presentation . While corporate gifts are appreciated , the presentation is more important in maintaining your brand . Wrapped in tissue and ribbons , the presentation makes the difference in how the client perceives the gift and by extension , the brand . Reusable containers are a major hit in the perception of responsible branding choices . When gifting food , including reusable containers with them such as a water bottle or mug is an additional packaging plus . Write a personal note and include with the gift as the final touch . Most importantly , add your brand name judiciously . Add your logo to the gift bags , the tags , embossed and subtle . The client need not have your brand name splashed all over the promotional product … simplicity goes a long way . The reason to send the promotional product is for the client to remember your brand and do business with the company again .

Gifting faux pas can hurt your brand :

Basic etiquette requires that you do not gift the following to any corporate client . Stay away from personal items such as perfume or clothing , with the exception of a scarf . Save the personal items for personal gifts and think of what the brand perception is before sending the gift . From choosing the gifts to presentation , promotional gifts are meant to retain the client and continue above all else , maintaining the relationship with your brand .
