‘Legend’ classic leather gloves
As successor to their best-selling ‘Ohio’ gloves, Orina’s new
‘Legend’ touring leather gloves are lightweight and “offer a
number of improvements over their predecessor: the leather
is now even more robust and comfortable, the foam padding
on the knuckles is supplemented by a Carbolex protector on
the palm side, and the index finger and thumb now include
conductive material, which allows the wearer to operate most
modern devices with touch screens.”
‘Legend’ gloves are CE certified in accordance with EN13594
and satisfy the European safety regulations for motorcycle
gloves.

Silkolene ‘Classic’ relaunch and two
new XP grades
FUCHS Silkolene is “evoking memories of the
past” by relaunching its ‘Classic’ range in a brand
new 4 litre metal container, complemented with
an authentic label design dating back to the
origins of the world famous Silkolene name - “a
strong salute to its roots.”
The new look ‘Classics’, which feature some
original names relating to the Derbyshire
countryside where they were developed, include
the addition of Silkolene Pro 4 5W-40-XP and Pro
4 10W-50-XP in response to the “increased
demand for these grades in modern motorcycles.”
These products have previously only been
available in the manufacturer’s PRO 4 Plus range.
“The new 5W-40 and 10W-50 blends now carry
Silkolene’s latest and market leading XP
technology additive pack.”
The existing PRO 4 PLUS viscosities have been
moved across to FUCHS Silkolene’s racing
application range. “These sit alongside the
exclusive Pro R 0W-20 grade, which is in high
demand from teams in the British Superbike
Championship, WSBK and Moto GP.”

Yamaha clutch spring
conversion kits
Californian clutch specialist Barnett’s coil spring conversion kits
include a CNC precision-machined billet aluminium pressure
plate and six heavy duty coil springs to replace the stock
diaphragm spring and pressure plate on select Yamaha models.
These spring conversion kits “provide a more progressive,
controllable clutch engagement compared to the OE
diaphragm spring. Multiple spring pressure options make them
ideal for stock to high performance applications.
“Installation is ‘bolt-on’ with no modifications required…it
simply replaces the stock pressure plate/spring assembly. For
maximum performance, install a set of Barnett clutch plates
with the spring conversion kit.”
Barnett spring conversion kits are available for the Yamaha V-
Max (thru ’07), Royal Star, Road Star, XVS1100 V-Star, ‘86-‘98
