Apple Pie
Ingredients:

Original recipe is from the book ”Jewish Food for Festivals
and Special occasions”, Marlena Spieler, Siedmiorog 2005,
but I made some changes.
Serves - 20
375 g white flour (3 ¼ glass)
4 big apples
2-4 tsp of cinnamon
1 ½ glass of sugar
Steps:
4 eggs
1. Cut apples in small pieces.
250 ml oil (1 glass)
125 ml (½ glass) fresh orange juice2. Add cinnamon to apples. I add a lot of cinnamon, because I love it!
In the original recipe the author adds 5 tbsp of sugar, which I leave out.
Vanilla sugar
3. Mix eggs, sugar, oil, orange juice together.
A little bit of salt
4. Add flour, vanilla sugar and a bit of salt.
5. Pour ¾ of the mixture into the baking form, place apple pieces on top
and pour the rest of the mixture on the apples.
6. Bake in 180 °C for around 60 min. Can be served warm or cold.
