Chole Bhature is one of the mouth watering, spicy, exotic vegetarian dishes from Punjabi cuisine of north India. The crispy puffed Bhatura (Bread) makes an excellent combination with hot and spicy Chole (Chickpeas) curry. Although, it is mostly eaten in the north part of India, it is also very popular in other parts of India. In addition to the exotic spicy taste, the dish offers variety of nutrients including vitamins, carbohydrates and proteins. Ingredients for Bhature: 200 g flour 100 g yogurt Salt 1 tsp oil Water (If needed for kneading) Steps: 1. Combine the flour with yogurt, salt, and oil. 2. Knead it into dough until the smoothness. If required add some water. 3. Cover it with a wet muslin cloth or kitchen towel for 30 min. 4. Take a portion of the dough and roll it out into a circle of approximately 12 to 15 cm diameter. 5.
