Bacalhau á Braz Ingredients: 500 g of cod fish 1 onion 250 g (1,5 pack) of potato chips 6 eggs Black olives Parsley Olive oil Salt Pepper Portugal Bacalhau à Brás is one of the most famous Portuguese dishes, and is considered the ultimate comfort meal in Portugal. This rustic and easy to make dish makes the perfect brunch, as it’s served family-style in a big pan. Steps: 1. In the pot cover the fish with water, bring to boil, and simmer until the fish flakes easily. Drain, cool and tear the cod is shreds. 2. Heat a large pan with a couple of spoons of olive oil and fry the chopped onion until it gets golden. 3. Set the heat to medium. Add the shredded cod to the pan with onions and fry for 1-2 min while mixing. 4. Add the potato chips sticks to the pan and keep mixing, fry for 1-2 min. 5. Whisk the eggs, bit of salt and pepper in a large bowl to blend. Add the eggs to the mixture in the pan and keep stirring. Cook over medium heat until the eggs are softly set, about 3 min. 6. Serve in a large dish and decorate with black olives and persil according to your taste. Enjoy with green salad. 52
