Fata Foul
Ingredients:
2 cans of fava beans
Sesame seed oil (dressing)
3 onions
200 g feta cheese
3 boiled eggs (optional)
4 falafel (optional)
2 cups water
1 tsp salt, adjust to taste
2 bread baguettes (large)
2 tbsp peanut butter.
1 tomato (optional)
Steps:
Sudan
Fata Foul is a popular Sudanese appetizer made
out of crushed fava beans and bread.
1. Boil beans in salty water.
2. Boil eggs and prepare the falafel (if you have chosen to add it).
3. Chop the bread into cubes, put them in the oven to get slightly
roasted.
4. Chop onions finely.
5. Mix peanut butter with some water.
5. Put the bread in a large bowl, add the beans with some of the
liquid. Mix them very well.
6. Add the remaining ingredients on top.
