- gymnastic hoop - the hoop should weigh a minimum of 300 grams; the
gymnastic and artistic system consists of turning, throwing and spinning the rim
around various parts of the body;
- artistic gymnastics ball - a player using a rubber ball can not drop it, and the
tasks include dribbling, throwing and turning with both hands;
- clubs for artistic gymnastics - in artistic gymnastics they are used in individual
and collective arrangements; the athlete performs a system of pirouettes, jumps
and weights, while balancing the clubs and juggling them.

Gymnastics are only allowed to make one attempt on each apparatus.
Assistants (spotters) may stand next to specified pieces of apparatus to prevent
risk of injury but 0.4 will be taken off the final score if the help is required.
Spotters are allowed to help gymnasts mount the still rings and the horizontal
bars.
Gymnasts may wear bandages or leather grips to increase friction on the
apparatus.
Gymnasts may be penalised for what the judges consider to be unsporting
behaviour.
