The Polish national team in the history of football had great players. Some of
them won medals at the world championships, won the most important club
trophies, and others are currently the stars of European clubs. Here are the best
Polish footballers of all time.
Jan Tomaszewski
In the goal, of course, there must be a goalkeeper who stopped England. Along
with the national team, he took third place at the World Cup in Germany in 1974
and won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Montreal in 1976. In the
1970s, Pele called him the world's best goalkeeper.
Kazimierz Deyna
Legend of the Polish and Legia Warsaw representation. He was the king of
riflemen at the Olympic Games in Munich (1972), where he reached for the
gold medal together with the team. He finished third at the World
Championships in Germany. He took the third place in the plebiscite for the
best world player in 1974 (Golden Ball).
