INDUSTRY APPOINTMENTS Arbor Networks appoints James Cater as VP and GM for EMEA Arbor Networks Inc, the security division of NETSCOUT, has announced the appointment of James Cater to the position of Vice President and General Manager for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). Arbor generates more than half of its revenue from international markets and has been active in EMEA for more than 15 years. James will be responsible for driving Arbor’s sales and channel initiatives as the company further penetrates the service provider and enterprise markets with its suite of visibility, DDoS defence and advanced threat protection solutions. James brings over 25 years of experience across several industries including service providers, global enterprise, healthcare and financial services. He joins Arbor from Tata Communications where he was Vice President of the Global Systems David J Henshall, new President and CEO at Citrix. Citrix appoints David J Henshall as President and CEO Citrix Systems has announced that its board of directors has appointed David J Henshall, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Citrix, as President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a member of the board with immediate effect. Mr Henshall’s appointment follows the mutual decision to separate the Citrix board and Kirill Tatarinov, President, CEO and Director of Citrix. The Citrix board has identified the leadership team to drive the company’s long-term strategy and growth, led by David Henshall. In addition to product excellence and growth, Citrix is committed to operational efficiency and value creation.
