Etisalat Digital and SonicWall partner to deliver end to end
security solutions to small and medium businesses in UAE
SonicWall, a security vendor protecting
more than 1 million networks worldwide,
announced a strategic partnership with
Etisalat Digital, the business unit of Etisalat
Group driving digital transformation in
the UAE and regions where Etisalat Group
operates. The collaboration is primarily
focused on delivering end-to-end digital
security solutions to small- and medium-
sized businesses throughout the UAE.

Digital is now a SonicWall SecureFirst
partner that offers technology solutions
to more than 300,000 small and medium
businesses in the UAE. Etisalat Digital is a
business division of the Etisalat Group that
serves 140 million subscribers across 16
countries in the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
The partnership allows Etisalat to further
expand its SMB portfolio from popular
broadband and telecommunication services to
end-to-end managed services. Etisalat Digital

and governments to become smarter through
the use of the latest technologies.
Canon introduces Saudi channel partners to
Irista and Lifecake cloud platforms
The event, held under the theme Be Story Ready, celebrated the achievements of channel partners in
Saudi Arabia in the last year with over 150 key Canon channel partner attendees.
Canon Middle East, a global vendor in
imaging solutions, reinforced its commitment
to channel partners in Saudi Arabia at its
annual Imaging Inspired channel partner
event. Held at the Mövenpick Hotel Riyadh,
the event brought all its Saudi Arabia channel
partners under one roof highlighting business
performance and innovative selling practices.
The event, held under the theme Be
Story Ready, celebrated the achievements of
channel partners in Saudi Arabia in the last
year with a lavish award ceremony with over
150 key Canon channel partner attendees.
Securing the Canon Middle East
Performance Awards this year was
prominent regional retailer Jarir Bookstore
in the DSLR and Lens category, as well
as the Cameras and Selphy section.
Acknowledging retailers for their innovative
selling practices, Canon awarded the regions
electronics giant eXtra for Best Customer
Experience and Display, Best e-tailing and
Social Media Collaboration, and recognised
its performance in the inkjet category of
printers. Al Ajyal secured the award for
Innovative Selling Concepts. Al Ghamdi won
the award for the laser category of printers
while Phone for Communication was
awarded for their performance in Printer
Consumables category.
Canon Middle East also introduced its
channel partners to Canon’s Cloud Services
that are designed to bring people closer
together: Irista, a cloud-based image
management platform that stores files,
images and videos at full resolution, and
a photo-sharing cloud-based platform
called Lifecake, which is targeted at young
mothers and mothers-to-be.
