he rapidly increasing interest and
focus on digital transformation
as an enabler for new revenue
streams, and the understanding that pure
play cloud solutions can offer significant
reductions in total cost of IT ownership, is
throwing a new array of digital solutions
vendors into the limelight. One such
vendor is Rubrik, a cloud-based, backup
and recovery solution vendor.
What Rubrik is bringing to the market

scale-out backup and recovery solution.
Rubrik’s strength among regional
enterprises is its ability to simplify backup
and data protection and to manage data in

consolidating the solution that has
historically been provided by enterprise
backup and hardware vendors alike.
The main demand drivers that Rubrik
fulfils is simplicity, scalability and total
cost of ownership. It is agentless and
installs in under an hour while leveraging
stateless automation of workflows. It uses
Google like predictive search for virtual
machines and individual files across
thousands of hosts on systems, archived
to private and public cloud. Rubrik is
built to scale-out, with shared nothing
architecture, that grows performance
and capacity linearly through a single
interface. By combining back-up and de-
duplicated storage while eliminating tape,
Rubrik can save end users 30% to 60% on
their TCO.
Channel enablement

proactive partners to achieve big growth.
We are getting a lot of attraction from
partners across the region; however,
we are very careful in on-boarding new
partners. We are following a less is more
strategy and we are not going to get our
product over-distributed. We will focus on
key partners and this means we are only
on-boarding a few very active, committed
partners that work jointly with us in
disrupting the regional market. We are
only signing up as many partners as we
need for our expected revenue capacity
in the region. It is all about focus and we
want to be relevant for our partners,”
