INDUSTRY APPOINTMENTS Lee Reynolds regional channel veteran moves to Netconsent UK Netconsent announced appointment of Lee Reynolds as its new Chief Executive Officer. Reynolds was previously Regional Service Sales Manager MEA and Turkey at Polycom till July 2016. Prior to Polycom, he was Managing Director, MEA and APAC for Value Added Distributor, Arrow Electronics, and European Security VAD, Computerlinks Group, where he headed up operations and led sales growth in the region for nearly ten years. Prior to these roles, Reynolds founded Fusion Distribution, which was acquired by Computerlinks Group in 2007. Reynolds is recognised for his successful track record in creating and executing strategies that deliver on ambitious revenue goals. His commercial experience will help drive Netconsent’s business strategy. Passionately committed to a channel sales model, Reynolds has already stated his intention to retain that go-to-market strategy for growing Netconsent’s sales revenues, market share and profitability. The addition of Reynolds to the board signals a new phase in Netconsent’s expansion plans. Dominic Saunders, founder of Netconsent will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer and remains responsible for the strategic direction of the Netconsent software solution and professional services, including the imminent provision for a SaaS offering. Netconsent is a vendor of compliance and communications software that automates the policy management life-cycle, delivers e-learning content and promotes user awareness. David Rozzio appointed Managing Director HP Inc, South Africa David Rozzio has taken over as Managing Director at HP Inc South Africa with effect from August 2016. He has been working at HP since 2001. During his tenure at HP he has held a number of posts mostly in the area of channel management. These include from most recent, PPS SMB and Channel Director HP Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa; PPS Commercial Channel Manager, MEMA; PSG Channel Sales Manager Middle East; Channel Sales Operations Middle East; Reseller Sales Operations and District Manager, France; Area Category Manager. He was educated at HEC Paris with Master HEC Entrepreneurs and Institut des Siences de líIngÈnieur de Montpellier. Jonathan Gill joins security vendor RSA as Vice President EMEA The Security Division of EMC announced Jonathan Gill as Vice President covering Africa, Middle East and Europe. The appointment continues RSA’s transformation to become an organisation well positioned to lead in the unfolding new world order of business-driven security. With more than 25 years of experience in global enterprise security leadership, Gill has a proven track record of success in creating and executing sales strategies that drive incremental business growth and customer value. In this role, he will leverage his experience to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction in the EMEA region. Most recently, Jonathan served as Executive Vice President for Global Sales at Veracode following leadership and sales roles at CA, Arcot and IBM. Riverbed appoints Ramzi Itani as channel head Deputy General Manager Riverbed Technology has appointed Ramzi Itani as its Regional Channel Sales Director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region. In this new role, Itani will focus on the development and enablement of Riverbed’s regional channel, in-line with the companyís global channel strategy. He reports to Giovanni Di Filippo, Vice President, Channels, for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Riverbed and Taj Elkhayat, Regional Vice President, META. In recent years, Riverbed’s focus has been to help partners expand across three key areas: building an embedded solution and services programme, driving joint engagement, and accelerating repeatable revenue. As Riverbed adopts a 100% channel driven model in the META region, Ramzi’s work will play a pivotal role in the success of the company. Ramzi has a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics as well an MBA in Marketing from University of Leicester in the UK. 73
