DCA CULTIVATING YOUR DATA CENTRE STAFF Finding the right fit staff is harder than it looks. Given the unique skill set needed to perform many of the tasks required within a data centre environment it is likely that whoever you find will need to be polished and honed over time to reveal their full potential. Simply put, if you fail to invest in your staff then it’s crazy to expect them to flourish, writes Steve Hone Operations Director, DCA. A s the Trade Association for the data centre industry, the DCA supports the sector in many ways. However, one of its core activities is to promote continued investment in skills and training to build on what has already been achieved and to ensure we are ready for what lies ahead. I read an article once that said business was a lot like gardening and having been a keen gardener since a teenager I can see the parallels.
