The Smart City digital master plan becomes
an important component for Master Plan

guidelines to manage the services, and

In March 2018, Orange Business
Services signed a Smart City consulting
agreement with Jeddah Economic
Company (JEC), the master developer of
the world’s tallest tower, Jeddah Tower.
The tower, which is over 1km tall, will be
located at the 5.3 million square metre
Jeddah Economic City Project. Orange is

creating a blueprint for the ICT infrastructure
of the tower, from the plan and design, to
the build and run phases.
Orange leverages its capability as a global
telco operator business consulting mainly in
the MEA region, having end to end visibility
on a Smart City setup from the ‘think’ phase
to building and running the Smart City
services, with strong references in the region.
Orange Business Services has been focusing
on developing this position in the region,
playing the role of master systems integrator
to build the trusted partner status with
the region’s Smart City operators and
governments, based on a consult, design,
build, operate and co-innovation approach
with them.
