NEWS STC achieves highest 5G reach level in the Middle East The company stated that a larger number of advanced technical services and solutions operated utilising high Internet speed would be available to customers by the second half of 2019. STC also praised the Ministry of Communications and Information and the Communications and Information Technology Commission for the support it has provided. The company launched its first 5G live network last May for the first time in the MENA region after the success of its 5G experiments and trials. S TC has achieved the highest reach level in the Middle East for 5G following the launch of its first live network in May 2018. Although 5G devices are currently not available in the market for customers, the company has been able to provide 450 locations with a 5G network across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an initial phase, achieving one of the highest reach levels worldwide. STC says it is working on completing the following phases of spreading 5G services on a wider scale to ensure the improvement of digital services and the enrichment of customer experience across the Kingdom.
