NEWS Huawei honoured with Responsible Competitiveness Award T he King Khalid Responsible Competitiveness (RC) Award has honoured Huawei. The leading global provider of ICT infrastructure and smart devices was awarded with the first prize of the prestigious King Khalid Responsible Competitiveness Award. This announcement was made during the annual award gala which took place at Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh. During the event, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Charles Yang, President of Huawei Middle East, recognised Huawei for its excellent sustainability practices and responsible competitiveness leadership, as well as its exceptional management capabilities and innovative social and environmental initiatives. Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, lauded the contributions of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince. The minister, speaking at the launch of the Investment Future Initiative (FII), noted their support for raising the standard of life to a level worthy of the aspirations for the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and its three pillars: a thriving economy, a vibrant community and an ambitious nation. The event featured ICT experts, specialists and leaders, and highlighted investment opportunities in KSA.
