By nature the livestock business requires decisions to be made within the shortest possible time not only to increase productivity but also sometimes to save the flocks from diseases. Sales and distribution of low shelf life products also requires dynamic information flow so as to make quick decisions. “The shelf life for eggs is 90 days while for fresh chicken it is three days. Hence it is extremely important for us to get real time information on our production and inventory,” added Ahmed.
