In practice, it sees machines operating in an intelligent manner,

potential for areas of ICT such as cybersecurity.
Autonomous operations will be able to use artificial intelligence and
machine learning to proactively monitor for anomalies, anticipate
outcomes, take remedial action and be aware of risks in real-time. It
is predicted that by 2025, 80% of risks concerning cloud operations
will vanish entirely and more intelligent automation will permeate the
cloud platform.
