approved by Visa for inclusion in the Visa Ready Programme.
This follows the earlier approval from MasterCard that Omnia
Pay’s solution meets MasterCard’s best practices for mobile
point of sale (mPOS) devices. As well as being Payment Card
Industry Data Security Standard compliant, Omnia Pay’s
mobile payment devices and platform are EMV (Europay,

UAE manager as director

Sheet has been promoted to the role of Regional Director,
Middle East and Africa.

Ashraf, who was previously country manager for UAE
and Pakistan, will be responsible for leading the strategic

most of the security vendors, on the UAE and Saudi Arabia,
but is witnessing high-growth levels in other regions too such
as Egypt, Turkey and Africa.
Ashraf is a network and security expert in the Middle East and
has held various progressive roles including Senior Security
Consultant, Leader for Managed Security Services and Head of
Security Business Unit for local and multinational companies.
