Epicor ERP to Improve Operations

verStyle, a leading supplier of
hospitality and kitchen brands,
has selected the Epicor ERP
(enterprise resources planning)
solution to streamline and automate
sales and finance processes, and
realise significant operational
efficiencies.
Explaining the rationale behind the
decision to upgrade the company’s
ERP system, Harish Wanchoo, General
Manager for EverStyle said, “As
a preferred supplier to most four
and five star hotels in the GCC, our
reputation hinges on having the
right stock of the right product at
the right time and ensuring that it
reaches the customer on or before
the date they request it. At EverStyle,
we offer a wide range of products
from leading hospitality and kitchen
brands; everything from chinaware
and glassware, to table lamps and
linens. While we did have an ERP
system in place, it was very basic
and, as our product portfolio kept
growing, inventory management,
capacity planning and ensuring on
time delivery (OTD) became quite
a challenge. In addition to our
operational challenges, most of our
sales and finance processes were
still manual, which was not only a
drain on our resources but, more
importantly, impacted our customer
service negatively.
Supported by Index InfoTech, an Epicor
partner that provides enterprise-class
solutions and services, EverStyle will
implement four core ERP modules:
supply chain management, financial
management, customer relationship
management and sales management,
at its facilities in the UAE and Qatar.

OMA Emirates’ Centralized Card Issuance Solution
to Enable Efficient and Flexible Services for QIIB

MA Emirates Group, a provider
of cutting edge technology
for the payment industry
has been contracted to provide a
high-end in-house centralized card
issuance solution to QIIB, a leading
bank in Qatar. The deployment will
entail a state-of-the-art EMV chip
card issuance system with top of the
range hardware and supported with
the OMA Emirates’ suite of software
solutions to ensure a seamless launch
for QIIB’s in-house issuance activity.
QIIB is committed to raising the
standards of customer service. The
new solution has been chosen to
ensure that the bank complies with
the ever-changing customer needs.
As a prerequisite, the bank needs
complete control of the card issuance

operations, and, OMA Emirates is
working with the QIIB team to develop
a suitable tailor-made EMV central
issuance solution to fulfill these
requirements.
The central issuance embosser that is
supported by the OMA Emirates Nano-
Perso, a personalization solution which
supports batch printing and encoding
will increase the bank’s efficiency. A
special data recovery process will also
be set in place through the Nano-Perso
application which will provide back-up
of the production systems.
