With another GITEX Technology Week behind us the regional ICT community is taking a short breather before getting back to the blueprints for the impending year ahead .
This year ’ s regional conference brought with it a return to bustling halls , innovative sessions and the unveiling of cutting-edge technologies .
What it also revealed is that security is at the forefront of everyone in the community - from the vendors , through the channel , right down to the end-users . 2016 has been the year where security violations have sweeped and engulfed just about everyone - whatever technologies are discussed for 2017 will undoutedly have security pinned to core considerations .
