elcome to the first edition of
Intelligent CIO Kuwait. We are
excited to bring you the first
edition of a new publication offering a
special focus on Kuwait’s standing as a
regional hub for technological progress.
Along with many other countries in the
Middle East, Kuwait is embarking on its
own Digital Transformation journey. This
will pervade every aspect of life and seek
to improve the way its citizens live their
everyday lives.
New Kuwait 2035’s nationwide digital
roadmap is driving the country’s digital
innovation market to nearly KWD300
million this year. And according to a recent
report by BMI Research, Kuwait’s smart
services and software market is set to reach
KWD293 million in 2018.
It’s no surprise that major international
companies are placing great emphasis on
the importance of operating in Kuwait.

highlight the importance of technology-
enabled education in Kuwait.
