ITC and ZTE Corporation sign
transformation agreement

The Integrated Telecom Company (ITC), a leading
ICT company, and ZTE Corporation, a global leader in
telecommunications and information technology based
in KSA, have signed a BSS/OSS and ERP Transformation
programme agreement.
This will result in the ZTESoft Zsmart end-to-end stack being
implemented. Eng Ghassan Itani, ITC’s CEO and President,
Mr Hu Xing, CEO of ZTE Saudi Arabia, said: “ZTE has been
working hard to serve the local market for more than 15 years by
promoting the digital transformation, which strongly supports
the National Transformation Plan, and ZTE is one of the main
participants in realising the National 2030 Vision of Saudi
Arabia. As a result, ITC and ZTE will sincerely co-operate to
achieve a win-win situation.”
ITC is expanding its footprint in the Saudi market providing
connectivity and bandwidth services. It is a partner in the Saudi
National Fibre Network.

students visited Huawei’s state-of-the-
art laboratory in Shenzhen, as part of
the company’s ‘Seeds of the Future’
programme, in collaboration with the
Communications and Information
Technology Commission (CITC).

The students learnt about intelligent
networks, cloud technology and the
design behind some of Huawei’s most
successful and innovative devices. HE Dr
Abdulaziz Bin Salem Al Ruwais, Governor
of CITC, said: “The Kingdom is continuing
to invest in its citizens in order to achieve
our Vision 2030 goals and establish
a vibrant, tech-savvy citizenry and
knowledge-based economy.
