PROJECT UPDATE BAHRAIN BAHRAIN Bahrain Petroleum Company has chosen Avaya to transform its network infrastructure. In line with its business objectives of digital transformation and rebranding, Bapco will deploy Avaya’s next-generation fabric networking technology to power the corporate network across locations in Bahrain, enabling the company to add services and devices in IoT. The first company to discover oil in the Arabian Peninsula in 1932, Bapco will become the first company in Middle East and North Africa’s oil and gas to deploy Avaya fabric networking. The new network infrastructure will provide connectivity for voice, data, CCTV, video, digital signage. The technology will enable Bapco to take advantage of cloud, mobility and IoT. Response to the new site has been phenomenal with over 2.5 million page views. The site offers free delivery on online orders above a value.
