PROJECT UPDATE LATEST REGIONAL PROJECT UPDATE KUWAIT KUWAIT A partnership between GE Healthcare and Advanced Technology Company (ATC) has been selected as the key medical technology provider for five new Ministry of Health hospitals in Kuwait as part of the Ministry’s strategic healthcare infrastructure modernization plan. The new partnership, announced at Arab Health 2017, the region’s premier healthcare event, will provide a range of healthcare technologies, including Healthcare IT systems, CT and MRI devices, to modernize the current infrastructure at Al-Razi Hospital Sabah Hospital, Kuwait Cancer Hospital, Farwaniya hospital, and Jahra Hospital. BAHRAIN BAHRAIN Ibdar Bank, a Bahrain-based wholesale Islamic Investment bank, has transformed its ICT infrastructure with Avaya, giving its workforce the capability to work from anywhere without compromising security. By replacing existing ICT solutions with Avaya’s networking and communications solutions, Ibdar Bank has substantially boosted productivity whilst significantly simplifying systems management. In collaboration with Fakhro Electronics, an Avaya Diamond partner in Bahrain, Ibdar Bank has deployed Avaya networking, wireless and team engagement solutions. The mobility capabilities within the Avaya solutions allow employees to securely work from anywhere, and make and receive business calls regardless of their location.
