Emerson Automation Solutions has announced that it has supplied its Roxar RMS reservoir modelling software to Kuwait Oil Company ( KOC ). The new licenses will be used to build more accurate and detailed reservoir models . The new contract expands KOC ’ s wide adoption of previously purchased Roxar RMS software , which has provided crucial input to KOC in well placing and determining the wellbore trajectory in the most potentially productive parts of the reservoir as well as reducing the geosteering risk for sidetracked wells . Roxar RMS software helps operators accelerate the field development planning cycle by allowing multiple disciplines to collaborate on a common reservoir model . The software also facilitates the implementation of the Big Loop solution , an automated workflow that tightly integrates static and dynamic domains to provide the greatest accuracy , the most comprehensive uncertainty assessment , and the best-quantified risk in the geologic model .

Sky Prime Aviation Services has chosen Honeywell ’ s JetWave Ka-band satellite connectivity hardware and Go Direct Cabin Connectivity services for its Airbus A319 and A330 aircraft . Moreover , the Saudi-based operator has chosen Amac Aero to install KA-band satellite & KUband and live TV streaming connectivity for the Cabins of its fleet . The latest additions to Sky Prime ’ s fleet will have access to Inmarsat ’ s Jet ConneX high-speed in-flight connectivity service enabling VIP business jet passengers to stay connected at 40,000 feet with an ‘ office in the sky ’ experience .
