TALKING BUSINESS
RETURNS
OUTWEIGHING
THE RISKS
In the second instalment of a two-part series
from CNet Training, Brett Youngman, Business
Development Manager MEA/APAC, explains the
intricate differences between qualification and
certifications with data centre education.
B
usinesses and individuals need
to be reassured that they are
investing in the right data
centre education programs for their
needs and that they are undertaking
their data centre training with the
right professional organisation. One
that allows delegates to benefit from
receiving the right technical knowledge
and awards both industry and
globally recognised qualifications and
certifications.
It’s a fact that trained and educated
staff show more commitment and are
more likely to stay with the organisation.
They also provide the company with
a training return on investment, this
considers increased productivity,
methodology and motivation due to the
additional skills and knowledge gained.
It’s not unusual to achieve a training
ROI of greater than 500%; certainly
something to consider from a business
perspective.
Choosing the right training and
education program doesn’t need
to be a long and laborious process;
however, there is a need to understand

training outcomes and the benefits
associated with each.
