The company offers a range of cloud-based managed services to its clients , covering all aspects of infrastructure , applications and communications . These include Infrastructure-as-a-Service ( IaaS ) and Software-as-a-Service ( SaaS ) products , as well as strategy , security , managed and on-boarding services . Each offering is underpinned by a strong focus on privacy , as demanded by the EU General Data Protection Regulation ( GDPR ). Client workloads cover everything from financial , insurance and legal applications , to the large demands of the online gaming industry .
Background
Just over a year ago , responding to customer demand for object storage-based services , Calligo partnered with enterprise object storage systems leader Cloudian to deploy its HyperStore solution . The cloud service provider chose Cloudian ’ s S3-compatible object storage offering because it was a very well supported storage solution , allowing for easy integration and management .
Calligo deployed a fault-tolerant , disasterresilient service made up of Cloudian HyperStore appliances and Lenovo server infrastructure , with three nodes running across two data centres . Implementing Cloudian HyperStore technology enabled Calligo to provide cost-effective cloud storage while ensuring smooth interoperability and integration with its other cloud services .
