COUNTRY FOCUS: NORDIC
standardised throughout the global network,
helping to attract and retain new customers.
At the same time, this result indicates that we
continue to create good value for the business
community in Denmark with the product lines
that we have today.”
The stable results are particularly due to
a streamlined range of products and a
consistently high level of quality throughout
the entire DACHSER network for road, air
and sea freight. In DACHSER Denmark, there
has been a strong focus on creating good
customer service and transparency and how
to optimise all aspects of the customer’s
supply chain.
“We have a dedicated focus on delivering our
absolute best for our customers. We grow

organically through our network, which has
helped create these great results that we see
in Denmark and in Scandinavia. Generally,
we are in a very positive development which
we intend to continue. We constantly seek
to renew ourselves and find new innovative
solutions to everyday logistical challenges,
such as how to optimise logistics in the cities,”
said Finn Skovbo Pedersen.
Growth in DACHSER Nordic
With a turnover of DKK 1.07 billion and a
revenue of DKK 35.5 million before tax, the
progress of DACHSER Nordic A/S continues.
The turnover has increased from DKK
1.05 billion in 2015 to DKK 1.07 billion in
2016 – an increase of more than 1.5%.
The number of employees has increased by
4.9%, while shipments increased by 12%
from 1.8 million in 2015 to over 2 million
in 2016.
”2016 has turned out to be the best
year ever for the Nordic group. We are
maintaining a steady growth and this year
we can present a consolidated result which
has doubled over the last two years,” said
Finn Skovbo Pedersen. “Among other things,
the strong growth curve is due to recent
investments in our network in Sweden, the
latest being the inauguration of new office
and warehouse facilities in Stockholm,
November 2015 and in Jönköping, January
2017. We expect these investments in the
Swedish network to continue contributing
to the positive development of the group in
2017,” said Finn Skovbo Pedersen. n
